Clayton County Register, Thur., 5 May 1932.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Rademacher were at Garnavillo Saturday, where they attended the funeral of Mr. Rademacher's mother, Mrs. Edward Rademacher, who died at her home there last Thursday morning at the age of 69 years, after a few weeks' illness. Deceased was a lifelong resident of Clayton county and was born February 11, 1863. Her maiden name was Mary Kregel. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband, one step-daughter, Mrs. Theodore Frye of Marquette, one step-son, Arthur Rademacher of Guttenberg; two brothers, Christ and Wm. Kregel of Garnavillo; one half-sister, Mrs. George Tangeman of Garnavillo; one half-brother, Ferdinand Jahnke of near Garnavillo; and numerous other relatives and friends, by whom she will be sadly missed. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. M. J. Harder at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Garnavillo, Saturday afternoon, with interment in the Garnavillo cemetery.
