MONONA: Daniel Cunningham, aged 55, was found dead Monday night. He left the room and did not return and his wife went to find him. She found he had died, heart trouble being the cause. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Augusta Scheffert Bonzar Cunningham; four daughters, Alma, Ruth, Helen Mae and Betty Jeanne Cunningham; two brothers, James Cunningham of Monona and George H. Cunningham of Storm Lake; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Hazlitt of Monona, Mrs. Hazel Wheat of Humbolt and Mrs. Carrie Campbell of Colton, S. Dak.; also four step-children. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from the home at 1:45 and two o'clock from the First Methodist church, Rev. L. H. Joslin officiating, with burial in the city cemetery. The sympathy of our entire community is extended the widow and fatherless children
Mr. Cunningham was a prominent farmer and for several terms was a member of the school board, also served on the creamery board.
