The death of Mrs. John Brock (nee Amanda Connor), 77 years old, and former Guttenberg resident, occurred at her home in La Crosse, Wis., Wednesday, April 6.

Mrs. Brock was born at Guttenberg July 7, 1854. She was married at Guttenberg to John A. Brock. About 30 years ago the family went to La Crosse, Wis., to reside, where the deceased spent the remainder of her life.

She is survived by her husband, three children, Earl of Montana, _____ (Looks like Hazel) and Claude of La Crosse, Wis., and numerous other relatives and friends, by whom this good and true mother and friend will be sadly missed.

The body was brought to Guttenberg for burial Friday afternoon and laid to rest in the city cemetery here, Rev. D. D. Welch of Dubuque officiating at the grave. Before bringing the body to Guttenberg, funeral services were also held at her home at La Crosse.
