Mrs. John Hill (Nee Sylvia Seidel) former resident of Guttenberg, died at her home in Canada Sunday, according to word received by Guttenberg relatives. The funeral was held in Canada Wednesday.

Mrs. Hill was born at Guttenberg 40 years ago, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seidel of Guttenberg. She grew to Womanhood in Clayton county and later was married to Mr. John Hill, who, with four children, survives her. Besides her husband and four children she leaves to mourn her death, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Seidel of Guttenberg; one brother, Fred Seidel, of St. Olaf, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Albert Stoecker, of Mason City, and many other relatives and friends.
