Larson, Bertha 1816 - 1901

Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Feb. 1901. St. Olaf column.

At the home of her son John Larson, last Tuesday, occurred the death of Mrs. Peter Larson. She was a bright and loving mother and leaves seven children; John, Christena, Ole, Lewis, Mary, Andrew and Lena. Her husband and one daughter preceded her in death. Mrs. Larson was 84 years old at the time of her death. May she rest in peace.

(Note: WPA records indicate her as Bertha Larson, 1816 - 19 Feb. 1901. The IGPP shows a dual headstone for Bertha and Peter Larson located in Norway cemetery.)
