Ricker, Wm. R. 1824 - 1901

Elkader Register, Thur., 7 Feb. 1901. Jefferson column.

Wm. R. Ricker was born in Tennessee July 28th, 1824. He came to Iowa in 1849 and was united in marriage to Miss Adeline Ricker in 18_0 (Looks like 1850.). To them were born ten children. He departed this life Feb. 2, 1901, at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 5 days. A wife, two sons and two daughters survive him. The funeral services were held at the Jefferson church Monday, Rev. Rodgers officiating.
