Elkader Register, Thur., 31 Jan. 1901. North McGregor column.

DIED- At the home of her parents in this city, Tuesday, January 22, Ruth Mildred Krohn, only child of Mr. and Mrs. Wray Krohn, aged 4 months and 9 days. She came to brighten their lives September 13, 1900, and although she was with them such a short time before she was called to a higher home she had entwined herself about their hearts so strongly that she will be sadly missed. The funeral services were held Thursday, January 24th. The bereaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community in this hour of trouble.
