Elkader Register, Thur., 31 Jan. 1901. North McGregor column.

Mrs. Daniel Crimmens died at her home near this city Thursday Jan. 24th, at the age of 70 years. Mrs. Crimmens was an early settler in this place and has acquired many friends to whom her death is a sad blow. She leaves to mourn her loss, a husband and two sons Mike and Jerry.

Note: The Clayton County Record of Deaths, Volume A, page 18 records the death on 1/24/1901 of Hanora Crimmins, age 70. Burial in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery, McGregor.
