Funeral services for Alexander Pagan, 84, Highland Township carpenter, were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Highland Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Dennis A. Stutrud officiating. Burial was in the Highland church cemetery.
Mr. Pagan died last Saturday at his farm home. He was born at Bern, Switzerland, on Dec. 2, 1874, and came to the United States in 1881. For a time he lived at Dubuque, then moved to Highland Township where he lived for 56 years.
On November 7, 1900, he was married at Illyria to Miss Tillie Aamudt.
He is survived by a daughter, Eunice, at home and one sister, Mrs. Fred Schneider of Elkader.
