Clayton County Register, Thur., 30 April 1959.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 20, 1959, at the McTaggart Chapel for Henry August Schultz, Garber, with the Rev. Robert Jacobs officiating. Burial was at Mt. Harmony cemetery, Elkport.

Pallbearers were: James Berns, William Kruse, Seymour Wilson, Earl Schultz, Robert Schultz and Otto Schultz Jr.

Henry August Schultz was born August 14, 1874, at Elkport and died Saturday, April 18, 1959, after a lingering illness, at the family farm.

In 1903 he was married to Bertha McSperrin.

Mr. Schultz was a farmer all his life.

He was preceded in death by his wife and is survived by a son, Arthur, Garber; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Meyer, Colesburg; and a stepson, Loyd Cole, Belvidere, Ill.; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
