Funeral services for Mrs. Anna K. Wenzel, 84, were held at Emanuel Lutheran Church in Strawberry Point Friday afternoon, July 17, at 2:00 p.m., with the Rev. Paul G. Bauer conducting the services. Burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Anna Moser was born Dec. 31, 1874, the daughter of Simon and Anna B. Mosermann Moser. On Dec. 21, 1892, she was married to Julius K. Wenzel at Manchester. The couple farmed until their retirement, when they moved to Strawberry Point. Mr. Wenzel died a few years ago and Mrs. Wenzel died early Wednesday, July 15, following an extended illness.

Survivors include a daughter, Adella Wenzel of Strawberry Point; a son, Edward, of Maynard; two brothers, Sam Moser of Marshalltown and Henry Moser of Strawberry Point; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A son, a daughter, a sister and two brothers also preceded her in death. Another brother, Ernest Moser of Des Moines, died two days after Mrs. Wenzel's death.
