Albert A. Webber, 71, of Garber died Monday evening, July 27, at Veterans Hospital in Iowa City.
He was the son of Conrad and Amelia Webber.
Survivors are: his wife Adaline, one daughter, Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Waterman, Colesburg; two sons, Francis, Cedar Rapids, and Lowell at home; one granddaughter, Rochelle Webber, Cedar Rapids; one sister, Clara Voss, Garber; two brothers, Martin, Clarendon Hills, Ill., and John, Seattle, Wash.

Funeral services for Albert Andrew Webber, 71, were conducted Thursday, July 30, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Garber, with the Rev. J. L. Kissling officiating.
Mr. Webber died Monday, July 27, at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, due to a heart condition he had suffered for the past two years.
He was the son of Conrad and Amelia Webber and was born on a farm near Garber Dec. 15, 1887.
He was married to Miss Adeline Hansel Nov. 27, 1930, at Colesburg. They had three children, Francis of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Roger (Shirley) Waterman of Colesburg, and Lowell at home. All three survive, along with his wife, Adeline, and one granddaughter, Rochelle Webber of Cedar Rapids, two brothers, Martin of Clarendon Hills, Ill., and John of Seattle, Wash., and a sister, Mrs. Clara Voss of Garber.
He enlisted in the army in World War I. He was a retired carpenter and church custodian until the last two years.
Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery near Guttenberg. Pallbearers were Junior Hansel, Melvin Webber, Victor Voss, Walter Webber, Paul Kolz and Menlo Voss.
Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Martin Webber, Clarendon Hills, Ill; Miss Esther Voss, St. Paul, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Victor Voss and family, Gary, Ind.; Loren Herman, Earlville; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Webber, Hawkeye; Junior Hansel, Cedar Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hansel, Greeley; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Webber and Mrs. George Webber, Elkader; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Elledge, Edgewood; and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Hothhouse, Earlville.
