Funeral services for Harley E. Yeisley, 88, who died early last Thursday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. R. E. Riemath, in Strawberry Point, were held at the Baxter funeral home in Mt. Vernon Monday afternoon, Nov. 23. Burial was in the cemetery at Springville.
Mr. Yeisley, a retired farmer, had lived in the Mt. Vernon and Springville area most of his life. Nearly five years ago he came to live with his daughter and son-in-law and he had made his home here since that time.
Survivors include four daughters, a son and a brother. The daughters are: Mrs. Alfred (Opal) Olson, Mt. Vernon; Mrs. Arthur (Grace) Davis, Ames; Miss Clare Yeisley, Cedar Rapids; and Mrs. R. E. (Alta) Riemath, Strawberry Point. The son is Arthur Yeisley, Mt. Vernon, and the brother is Hugh O. Yeisley, also of Mt. Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his wife in May, 1920.
