Henry Kjosa, son of Halvor and Olina Kjosa, was born March 19, 1890, in Clayton County and died Nov.14, 1959, in an Iowa City hospital at the age of 69 years and 8 months.

He was baptized and confirmed in the Norway Lutheran Church and was a member of this congregation all his life.

On June 25, 1919, he was married to Beulah May Larson. One son, Harold Lorimer, was born to this union. He operated a farm in Wagner Township until 1942, when he moved to St. Olaf, where he resided at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son and four brothers, Tov, Gerhard, Otto, and Theodore.

He is survived by his wife; four sisters, Tillie Kjosa of St. Olaf, Ella, Mrs. Oliver Hofland, Reeder, N.D., Mabel, Mrs. Art Knuth, and Lillian, Mrs. Oliver Johnson, both of St. Olaf; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held at Norway Lutheran Church Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Bruce Boyce officiating. Burial was in Norway cemetery. Pallbearers were Curtis Olson, John Larson, Lorin Hamann, Oscar Thompson, Fred Rugland ans Vern Rugland.
