Clayton County Register, Thur., 5 Nov. 1959.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Witt chapel at 2 p.m. for Mrs. Anna Leonard, with the Rev. Paul Kitterer officiating.

Burial was at the East Side cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Wacker, Franklin Wacker, Bob Wacker and Milton Kramer.

Mrs. Anna Leonard, daughter of Henry and Mary Keifer Wacker, was born Jan. 7, 1878, at Mederville, and died Oct. 30, 1959, at Huntington, Ind.

In 1901 she was married to Joseph T. Leonard at West Union.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one son, Clarence.

She is survived by a daughter,, Mrs. L. A. (Florence) Gorham, Huntington, Ind., and she had made her home in Huntington for the past nine years. She is also survived by one brother, Frank Wacker, Elkader; three sisters, Betty Wacker, Cedar Rapids, Mrs. George (Marie) Alden, Bonaparte, Iowa, and Mrs. Claude (Carolyn) Prewitt, Olympia, Wash.; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis A. Gorham, Huntington, Ind.; Mrs. B. G. (JoAnne) McGuire, West Lafayette, Ind.; Mrs. O. A. (Donna Lou) Winter, Huntington, Ind., and Miss Betty Wacker, Cedar Rapids.
