Calder, Artemus 1889-1889

On Tuesday, October 29th, 1889, occurred the death of Artemus, infant son of Rev. and Mrs. A. B. Calder, of Volga. Its short life of three weeks was long enough to endear itself to its parents and others, but this fair but of promise was carried up to the fold, by the Master who ‘giveth and taketh away.”

The brief funeral services held at the home of the bereaved parents, Thursday afternoon, were conducted by Rev. J.G. Whitford. The sympathy of their many friends is with Rev. and Mrs. Calder in this sad hour.
