In 1860 he came to the United States, locating first at Guttenberg, but three years later came to Boardman township where he resided continuously to the time of his death.
There are left to mourn his death, an aged widow, and four sons, all residents of the county, besides numerous friends. The funeral took place on Sunday morning at ten o’clock a.m., from the Catholic church, Rev. J.F. Reilly originating, and was very largely attended. His remains were laid to their final rest in the Catholic cemetery.
