Clayton County Register, Thur., 3 Dec. 1959.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1959, at 2 p.m. at the Witt funeral chapel with the Rev. Robert Jacobs officiating, for Mrs. Rosetta McLane. Burial was at Mt. Harmony cemetery. Pallbearers were: James Berns, LaVerne Stoeffler, Helmer Peterson, Paul Doeppke, Wm. Kruse and Merton Sweet.

Rosetta, daughter of Alonzo and Jeanette Moore, was born March 10, 1881, at Sherryl Mound, Iowa, and died Monday, Nov. 30, 1959, at the Riverview Hospital, Guttenberg, after being a patient there for the past two weeks. She suffered from a lingering illness.

Nov. 26, 1899, she was married to William L. McLane, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Ruby) Taylor, Elkport, with whom she made her home since the death of her husband, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
