Funeral services for Janice Elaine Fishel were held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock Friday afternoon, April 24, and at the Peace Evangelical and Reformed church at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. Paul Kitterer officiated. Burial was in the East Side cemetery.

Janice Elain was born at Edgewood, July 16, 1949, the daughter of Robert and Ivanell Meenan. She was baptized July 2, 1950.

Janice died at the Delaware Memorial hospital in Manchester, April 21, 1953, of rheumatic fever after an illness of two weeks. She had reached the age of three years, nine months and five days.

She is survived by her parents and a sister, Joann Mae; her grandmother, Mrs. Emma Fishel; and grandfather, Ferdinand Meenan.

Pallbearers were: Charles Thomas, Harland Tackman, Raymond Storbeck and Arthur Krieg Jr.
