Luana, Ia. - The Funeral of William Gentz, 53, farmer living two miles southeast of Luana, was held Wednesday afternoon at the Lutheran Church with the Rev. H. P. Kumpf, officiating.

He died Monday morning at his home following a brief illness.

Besides his widow, he is survived by one son, William Jr.; six daughters, Mrs. Lester Schulte of St. Olaf, Mrs. Harley Radloff, Hester, Lou Ann, Rita, and Marjorie, all at home.
