Clayton County Register, Thur., 15 Oct. 1953.

Joe Gordon, age 22, only son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Gordon, farmer and milk hauler near Mederville, was killed instantly Saturday afternoon when a tractor tipped over on him crushing his chest. At the time he was hauling corn on the James Debes farm on Cox Creek.

Funeral services were held Monday at Gill's Funeral Home in Strawberry Point.
