The sad intelligence reached us yesterday of the death at his home, near the village of Monona, of Bradley H. Olmsted. He died about 2 o'clock in the morning after an illness of near a week, which is all the information we have been able to obtain at this writing. The remains were deposited in their last resting place at 2 o'clock to-day, and the Masonic order, of which he was an active member, in honor of the departed brother, formed in procession and marched to the cemetery, in charge of the corpse. Mr. Olmsted was one of the oldest citizens of Clayton county and hundreds whose eye will fall upon this brief mention of his dismise will drop a silent tear to the memory of a noble, true and good man.
