Services for Dorothy Schute
Miss Dorothy Schute, 69, of Guttenberg died at 6 p.m. Friday, Apr. 28, at St. Joseph’s Unit of Mercy Health Center in Dubuque.
Services were conducted by Monsignor Donald Sweeney at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery with the following pallbearers: David Elsinger, John Padden, Kenneth Keller, James Schute, Micheal Kluesner and Arnold D. Schute.
The Scripture wake, service was held at 8 p.m. Sunday at Tuecke Funeral Home.
Miss Schute was a daughter of Herman and Louise Kreisler Schute and was born in Guttenberg April 23, 1909. She was a registered nurse for 42 years and was formerly employed at Mercy-Health Center in Dubuque.
Surviving are six brothers, Arnold Schute of Monona, Urban Schute of Waterloo, Delbert Schute of Dubuque, Raymond Schute of Guttenberg, Marvin Schute of Farley and Lavern Schute of Serrittos, Calif.; and three sisters Mrs. Clarence (Bernice) Keller of Waukon, Mrs. Norma Kluesner of Marquette and Mrs. Oscar (Dolores) Padden of Dubuque.
