Mr. Gus Stropp, an old pioneer resident, died Tuesday at the age of 80 years and was laid to rest in the Catholic cemetery here Thursday morning. He has no relatives here but he had one of the largest funerals that has been held here for some time. Rev. Father H. A. Holthaus officiated. The pallbearers were John and Henry Engling, Chas. Hook, Frank Kinniker, Mat Bakula and John McCaffery.
