Services for Mrs. Theodore (Mathilda “Tillie” E.) Kann, 83, of Guttenberg were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and were conducted by Father Paul Peters.
Mrs. Kann died Thursday, Nov. 24, 1988 at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital.
Burial was in Guttenberg City Cemetery with the following pall bearers: Tom Hoeger Jr., Harold Nuehring, Keith, Kevin, Tom and Steve Kann.
The scripture wake service was said Friday evening at the Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home.
Mrs. Kann was a daughter of Louis and Henrietta (Seippel) Geuder and was born in Guttenberg on Nov. 12, 1905. She was married in Dubuque Sept. 12, 1930 to Theodore Kann, who survives.
Surviving besides her husband are one son, Ron of Dubuque; one daughter, Mrs. Tom (Marlene) Hoeger of New Vienna; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Geuder of Guttenberg; and two sisters, Louise Nuehring of Guttenberg and Martha Scollard of St. Cloud, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
