Elkader Register, Thur., 27 Jan. 1921. Strawberry Point column.

Since our last writing Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kellogg mourn the loss of their infant daughter aged three days. Short services occurred at the grave Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Kirby. This rose was but one born to bud on earth and bloom in Heaven.

Note: She was not 3 days old at death. Her gravestone & death certificate both give her dates as 1/17/1921 - 1/18/1921. Burial in Strawberry Point cemetery.
