Clayton County Register, Wed., 18 Dec. 1935.

Mrs. Emmet Thyne passed away at her home here Tuesday morning, Dec. 17, around eight o'clock. Her very sudden death was due to a heart attack, it is believed. Her many friends will be grieved to hear of her death. The funeral arrangements have not been completed at this writing.

(Note: No full obit appeared in the next weeks newspaper.)
