McGregor: Funeral services for Mrs. G. S. Donaldson of Los Angeles, California, were held at the Congregational church Friday morning, Rev. J. F. Parsons officiating. Mrs. Donaldson was born in McGregor August 5, 1874, the second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel J. Peterson, pioneer druggist of McGregor. The family was for years a leader in the business, social and church life of the community. Mrs. Donaldson was educated in the McGregor schools, Carleton college and Pomona college, California. She lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, for several years, and later in California. She was married to Gilbert S. Donaldson in McGregor Dec. 10, 1910. Mr. Donaldson was then proprietor of the McGregor electric light plant. In 1917 they moved to California, where they have since made their home.
She is survived by her husband, her daughter Estelle, two sisters, Miss Anna Peterson of Claremont, Calif., and Mrs. Barry Gilbert of Evanston, Ill., and an aunt, Miss Rebecca Ramage, who has made her home with her for many years. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery.
