Clayton County Register, Thur., 19 Sept. 1935.

Funeral services for L. C. Wareham were held at St. Mary's church in Strawberry Point Monday, conducted by the Rev. P. J. Boyle. Burial was in Strawberry Point cemetery. Lyman C. Wareham was born at National in Clayton county, July 29, 1856. Surviving are his widow, formerly Emma Gratke, and three children by a former marriage, Con L. Wareham, Dysart; John F. Wareham, of Clinton; and Mrs. Hannah Hillock of Timber Lake, S.D.; and one sister, Mrs. Kate Hyde of Oldham, S.D.; also eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
