The body of Peter Lei, 63, will be brought here this forenoon for burial in St. Joseph's cemetery alongside the body of his deceased wife.

Mr. Lei took his own life at his home in Dubuque Tuesday at 10:20 a.m. by drinking strychnine.

He was a native of Elkader, and a resident of Dubuque for the past 14 years, during which time he was employed as a laborer by the Key City Gas company. He married Sophie Reick, of Littleport, in August, 1898. She preceded him in death, as did also his mother, two sisters, and three brothers.

Survivors are three daughters, Josephine, Mrs. Lena Lucas, and Mrs. Earl Rapp, all of Dubuque; his father, Charles Lei, Dubuque; one sister, Mrs. C. P. Hess, of California; five brothers, Henry, Bryant, S.D.; Giphart, Redig, S.D.; John and Nicholas, Murchison, S.D.; and Fred, of George, Iowa; also six grandchildren.
