Guttenberg: Mrs. Louis Frommelt, nee Elizabeth Roth, a life-long resident of this place, passed away at St. Francis hospital at LaCrosse, Wis., on Monday morning, following an operation, at the age of 66 years, three months and 27 days. Mrs. Frommelt was born here April 29, 1869, where her entire life was spent. She was married to Christ Frommelt, who preceded her in death a number of years ago. She was again married at Guttenberg to Louis Frommelt. The body was brought to her home here Monday evening. Her death is deeply mourned by her husband; 14 children, Christ of Guttenberg, Mrs. William Hill of Dubuque, Alfred, Clarence, Leo, Mrs. Florence Junk, Raymond, Alvis, Arthur, Marcellas, Elmer, Arnold, and Edwin of Guttenberg, and Mrs. Alma Heithoff of Carroll; 37 grandchildren; two brothers, Ben Roth of Dubuque, and Andrew Roth of here; two sisters, Mrs. Henry Saeugling and Mrs. Ben Nieland of Guttenberg; and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. A. Dupont at St. Mary's Catholic church, here, on Wednesday morning, with interment in Mt. Olivet cemetery. The funeral was attended by very many people which showed that the deceased was held in high esteem by all who knew her. One brother and two sisters had preceded her in death.
