Clayton County Register, Thur., 4 Apr. 1935. McGregor column.

Rev. Father Vernon J. Peters of Dubuque attended the funeral of his aunt, Mrs. Anthony Kelly, in McGregor, on Friday morning, and also visited in Monona in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Peters.

Mr. and Mrs. John Peters and Charles Kelly attended the funeral of their sister-in-law, Mrs. Anthony Kelly, who died in Mason City, and the funeral was held in McGregor on Friday morning.

(Note: Anthony Kelley 1856 - 1912, and Catherine Kelley 1863 - 1935, are shown in WPA records as buried in St. Mary's cemetery at McGregor.)
