Clayton County Register, Thur., 17 Jan. 1935.

Monona: Miss Nellie Grady died Jan. 2, 1935, in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hall C. Meyer, near Postville, having gone to their home to care for their small son who was seriously ill with scarlet fever.

Miss Grady lived her entire life, with the exception of a few years, near or in Monona. She lived with her parents until their death, after which she cared for the sick, and while on duty contracted the disease which caused her death.

Surviving her are her three sisters, Mrs. Richard Geraghty and Mrs. George Schofield, of Monona, and Miss Elizabeth Grady, of Greene, Iowa; and two brothers, John F. Grady of Monona, and William Grady of California; also nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
