Monona, Ia. - Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred Kishman, 58, who died at her home here Tuesday, after a long illness, were held Friday, at Pilgrim Evangelical church. The Rev. H.W. Raduege, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Kishman, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baars, was born March 30, 1887 in Clayton county where she spent her entire life.
On July 3, 1912, she married Antony Kafer, who died in 1919. She married Alfred Kishman June 18, 1923 and the couple made their home in Monona.
The Monona Woman's Relief corps, of which organization she had been the chaplain for over nine years, attended the services in a body.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley Hunter of Marquette, and a grandson, Richard Hunter.
