Myrtle Adams Mohn died Dec. 14 at the home of her son at Ottumwa, Iowa. She had been ill for six months, and the cause of her death was cancer.
Mrs. Mohn was born April 14, 1879, in Boardman township, the daughter of Nicholas and Pollie Adams. She attended the public schools of Elkader.
She was married to George Roscoe Mohn at Lansing, Iowa, in April, 1915.
A daughter, Marjorie Mae Clinton, preceded her in death.
Surviving are her husband; a son, Harold Francis Wells of Ottumwa; one grandchild, three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles De Bow, Maynard, and Clara Paul, Red Bluff, Calif.; and two brothers, Henry Adams of Dubuque, and Orin Adams of Strawberry Point.
Funeral services were held from the Witt chapel Dec. 17 at 10 o'clock a.m. Burial was in the East Side cemetery. The Rev. H. G. Kelly officiated. Pallbearers were: Frank O'Brien, Albert Geno, Julius Pahlas, Fern Sharp, H. K. Roggensack, and Harry Behrens.
