Glenn Wilker died Sunday morning, Nov. 13, at the Willard hospital at Manchester, Iowa, from injuries received in an automobile accident.

He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilker, born July 27, 1932, in Read township, Clayton county, and lived at home his entire life.

He attended the Hope rural school, and was farming. He was a member of the third generation born on his father's farm.

Glenn was confirmed May 28, 1944, by S. K. Mykland at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at Clayton Center.

Survivors are: his parents Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilker; a brother, Kenneth, seven years old; grandparents, uncles, aunts and numerous cousins.

The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated at the funeral at the home at 1 o'clock and at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church at 1:30 p.m. with interment in the new Clayton Center cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Edward Crary, Gilbert Barnhardt, Neil Meyer, John Hoth, Dwayne Bahls, Loran Bushkowsky. Flower gals were Jean Glawe, Madonna Huebner and Dorothy Mae Hoth.

Relatives from a distance who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ihde, grandparents, Mrs. Louis Mecklenberg of Modesta, Calif.; Mrs. Bernard Cook, Mr. and Mrs. Willis Polkow, Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Connelly, LeClaire, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. John Meier, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Meier, Wm. Meier, all of Sterling, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hanson, Sioux Falls, S.D.; Mr. and Mrs. Louis J. Hilbrands, George, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. George O. Groen and son Donald, George, Iowa.
