Clayton County Register, Thur., 27 Oct. 1949.
Fred Williams, 64, retired Monona painter, was found Wednesday lying across his bed beside a discharged 12-gauge shotgun by his sister, Mrs. Terry Olds, St. Louis, Mo.
He had been ill for several years and Coroner E. W. Tuecke pronounced his death a suicide.
Mrs. Olds had been visiting her brother since his return from the McGregor hospital.
