Patrick Orr, Five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Raphael Orr, north of Volga, died Monday at 10 p.m., at Mercy Hospital, Dubuque, where he had been taken after being seriously ill with infantile paralysis. He had entered kindergarten last Monday in the public school, and complained of not feeling well the latter part of the week. His condition gradually grew worse and he was hospitalized on Monday.

The child was born May 16, 1944, at Madison, Wis., the second son of Raphael and Josephine Forster Orr. He resided with his parents on their farm north of town.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 9:30 o'clock at Sacred Heart church with the Rev. D. T. Noonan, pastor, celebrant of the Requiem high mass.

Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, John and James Orr; two grandfathers, Fred Orr, Volga, and George Forster, Madison, Wis.; and a number of other relatives.

Burial was in the church cemetery, Volga City.

Casket bearers were: George Forster, Madison, Wis.; James Miehe, Elkader; Michael Roach and James Shea Jr., Volga.
