Lyle O. Moyle, 5, son of Leslie and Marie (Smith) Moyle, died early Saturday at the University hospital in Iowa City of polio. He became Clayton county's first death due to polio this year. had gone to Iowa City August 5.

Funeral services were held at the farm home between Strawberry Point and Edgewood Monday afternoon and burial was in the Strawberry Point cemetery.

Lyle was born June 17, 1944 and is survived by a sister, Leila, and two brothers, Leslie Jr. and Leland, in addition to his parents.
