Clayton County Register, Thur., 30 June 1949.

News of the death of Carl Koehn, 67, former Elkader resident, was received here this week by Mrs. Kathryn Dittmer. Koehn, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Koehn of Elkader, died in a Minneapolis hospital on June 25. His health had been failing for several years.

Funeral services were held in Minneapolis Monday afternoon. Koehn was buried in Minneapolis' Pilot Knob cemetery.

(Note: His relationship, if any, to the Dittmer family is unknown.)
