Clayton County Register, Thur., 5 May 1949.

Mrs. Mary Patrick, 99, one of the oldest residents of Clayton county, died Monday at the county home. Funeral services were held Thursday, with burial in Mt. Harmony cemetery at Elkport.

Mrs. Patrick was born in Scotland on June 30, 1849, and would have reached her 100th birthday next month. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James MacDowell. She came to this country in 1862 and made her home near Guttenberg, where she later married William Patrick.
