A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Meyers at Cedar Rapids Monday morning, May 23, but only lived until Tuesday evening. The child is survived by its parents and two brothers; also the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meyers of Volga.

Clayton County Register, Thur., 2 June 1949.

William G. Meyers, two-day-old infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Meyers, died Tuesday in a Cedar Rapids hospital.

Surviving besides his parents are two brothers, Wayne and Ralph, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Mormann of Stacyville, and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Meyers of Volga.

Services were conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday in the Teahen chapel by the Rt. Rev. Msgr. D. J. Lenihan. Burial was in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
