Rockwell - funeral services for Roland Hale Schiff, who died Saturday at the University hospital at Iowa City from burns suffered in a grass fire on his father's farm near Rockwell, were held Tuesday afternoon in the First Methodist church in Monona. The Rev. Louis H. Jostlin officiated and burial was in Monona.

Roland, son of Burnell and Meta Schiff, was born in Allamakee county, Nov. 18, 1928. Those who survive are his parents, three sisters, Maude Mae, T. Lois, 2, and Norma Jean, 1; one brother, Robert, 5; his grandfather, Emil Schiff of Monona, and his grandmaother, Mrs. Frank Hayes, Mason City.
