Funeral services for David Dwayne Marting three week old son of Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Marting of near St. Olaf were held from the Witt funeral chapel at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon, Feb. 20. The Rev. J. H. Zerhusen officiated. Burial was in Clayton Center cemetery.
David Dwayne was born at the Kader hospital in Elkader January 30, 1949 and died at the Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo, February 18, 1949 following a brief illness.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dwayne Marting; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ross Morley, Edgewood, Ia., and Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Marting, Monona, Ia.; and a number of uncles and aunts.
Relatives from a distance attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Ross Morley, Edgewood; Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Marting, Monona; Mr. ad Mrs. Eugene Morley and daughter Jean Ann, Dubuque.
