Monona, Ia., April 21 - Gustav Kolbe, Sr., 80, died Tuesday night at his home here. Surviving are three sons, Frederick, Otto and Gustav Kolbe, Jr. and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon from the Evangelical Lutheran church, the Rev. A. Daugs officiating.

Notes: Burial is in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery, Monona. Clayton County Death Certificate index gives his dates as 5/22/1851-4/20/1932. His wife was Efrasine nee Wisbauer 3/27/1847-2/23/192
