Emma Julia Bacom [sic], youngest child of Howard and Lottie Bacom, was born July 30th 1922, and was called by the Heavenly Father Wednesday morning Dec. 26, 1923.

She had gladdened the home for a short period of 17 months.

She will be sadly missed by her loving parents, one little sister Delores and her grandparents.

"I can not say, and will not say,
That she is dead, she just went away.
With a cheery smile and a wave of the hand,
She has wandered into a better land,
And left us dreaming how very fair,
It needs must be, since she lingers there."

Funeral was held at the home Thursday, Rev. H. A. Crumb of Arlington preached the sermon, burial was made in the Cox Creek cemetery.

*Surname is correctly spelled BACON
