Mrs. Julia Hays, aged about eighty-six years, died Tuesday morning at her residence about one mile southeast of town. About two weeks ago she suffered a paralytic stroke, from which time she gradually failed until death relieved her. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Mary Murphy; two daughters, Mrs. Thomas Smith, of Emory, S.D., Mrs. Jake Brown, of near colesburg; and one son, Thomas, with whom she made her home. The funeral will be held at the Catholic church Friday forenoon at ten o'clock.
