On Tuesday morning at 8:15 o'clock occurred the death of Glen Robert Chapman, son of Joseph and Julia Chapman, of Highland township. He was fifteen years of age the 15th of October and was a bright and promising boy, beloved by all who knew him. He has always lived on the farm where he died, and attended the district school until two years ago, and then started school at Volga. He was a very bright scholar and a hard worker and gave promise for a good and noble man. He was a great reader and when not at work was studying or reading. The family and relatives have the heartfelt sympathy of all neighbors and friends. The funeral was very largely attended, which showed with what respect he was held.
