Grandma Bieger* died last Saturday night at her son-in-law's, Conrad Weber, at the advanced age of eighty-four years, and was buried Tuesday at Guttenberg. Services were held at the Elkport Catholic church.

Note: The surname is spelled *Biegger, although many other spellings are found in various records (Beigger, Begger, Beiger, etc.) Census records have various first names also (Katrina, Mary, Anna) Her daughter, Amelia Beigger Webber & husband Conrad Webber are buried in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery Guttenberg. No stone has been found for Katrina or her husband John Biegger, but it is likely they are also buried at St. Mary's.
