Margaret Johanningmeier

Mrs. Allen (Margaret) Johanningmeier, 59, passed away in Metairie, La. Thurs. evening, Aug. 3.

Services were held Sat. afternoon from Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, Metairie, La.

Mrs. Johanningmeier was the former Margaret Koth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Koth, former Monona residents, and her husband, Allen is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Johanningmeier of Monona.

Death of a Former Resident

Word was received Friday, August 4, of the death of Mrs. Allen Johanningmeier of Metairie, Louisiana. She was the former Margaret Koth, daughter of Ross and Altha Lenth Koth of Postville.

Those attending the funeral Saturday, August 5, at Mr. Olive Lutheran Church, Metairie, were: Mrs. Altha Koth, Mrs. Helen Green, Harold Koth and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Koth

Postville Herald newspaper clipping, both articles hand dated 1978, from my mother's obituary collection.
